HOW TO JOIN OUR CHURCH
At the close of every service, we sing a hymn of invitation. During the singing of this hymn, you are invited to come to the front of the church where the pastor is waiting to receive you, should you feel led of God’s Spirit to make any of the following decisions:
- To make a public profession of faith in Christ as Savior, looking forward to baptism and church fellowship.
- To ask for church membership:
- By letter of transfer from another Baptist Church.
- On your statement that you have been a member of a Baptist Church if a letter of transfer is not obtainable.
- By baptism (if you have never been baptized by submersion) or if you are transferring from a church of another denomination. If you are being baptized, you will be notified as to the date of baptism and other pertinent information.
- To reinstate membership with this church if you have been inactive for a ninety-day period.
Now that you have joined our church
As a new member, you are required to attend New Membership Class on Sunday morning during the Sunday School hour.
